Taskeen – Ice Blue is an ode to refined luxury, designed on a premium rawsilk base that exudes quiet sophistication. The sherwani features intricate resham adda work, meticulously layered with a delicate zardozi jaal in cool grey tones, creating a harmonious contrast against the icy blue foundation. This restrained metallic palette enhances the embroidery’s depth while maintaining elegance rather than excess. The ensemble is paired with a cotton/silk blended inner kurta and pyjama in ash grey, ensuring comfort while elevating the overall aesthetic. Taskeen was conceived during a season of exploration where Arsalan Iqbal sought to reinterpret bridal menswear through softness rather than intensity. Inspired by early winter skies over Lahore and Istanbul, the design team experimented with cooler hues and muted metals. The grey zardozi jaal was introduced after multiple trials to ensure it reflected light subtly rather than sharply. Artisans worked tirelessly to balance the adda embroidery density so the sherwani remained lightweight yet visually rich, resulting in a piece that feels serene, composed, and deeply luxurious.
